One of the many things I have noticed that is going to have to be addressed if real change is going to work much less be attempted is people’s inability to accept, understand, even recognize opposing viewpoints, thoughts and ideas. Is it selfishness? Fear of maybe being wrong or misinformed? A by-product of the divisiveness of our two-party system?
Whatever the reason, we as a country need to step outside ourselves and take an honest and unflinching self-evaluation of ourselves, as individuals and as a country. Figure out where we are and where we want to go. Then make a plan on how to get there.
