Why, oh why, oh why!

I’m a curious person. I love learning new things. I’ve spent life investigating the why and how of everything and anything. This started way back in the dark ages when you had to use the library or actually talk to people who are actually knowledgeable about the topic. How something worked or happened is easy. Finding the why, that was the hard part.

Why are we here. Why does the cute girl in home room not like me. Why do we workship celebreties and athletes like God’s, when most haven’t done much to deserve it? Why did my steak get over cooked. Why this, why that.

In the realm of getting shit done, the why does not matter. Neither does who is to blame.

Whether the current pandemic situation is a carefully planned out operation to enslave the masses of the world or the latest example of the incompetance of our world’s leadership or the actual reason, it does not matter in the realm of keeping ourselves and the ones we love safe and healthy.

If this is not the first priority in your life right now. You are part of the problem.

This means, unlike the overwhelming majority of We the People, you aren’t living paycheck to paycheck or were before all this shit. Or trying to half home school your kids while teleworking from the kitchen. Or any of the myriad of other problems We the People are being forced to endure in our already overloaded lives.

All the people who have enough free time to worry about the Why. Why don’t you try helping your neighbors instead of blaming them for your “oh so hard life”

While you are worrying about the Why, the rest of us are inundated by “how’s”

How are we going to pay the rent?

How are we going to eat?

How am I going to find a job when restaurants are dropping like flies?

The answer to those questions is usually something like “do what you got to”

And we do. Because that’s what we do.

Keep you and yours safe. Keep your loved ones close and everyone else, 6 feet away. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Keep your area clean and sanitized. We can only control the area and people closet to us. So make sure you trust those closest to you to be safe when not around you and your loved ones. Respect others decisions to over do it.

The life you save may be someone you love.
