Which we always said on an “and I turned out ok anyway” kind of way. Until I became more aware of and experienced the results of today’s educational system. Now, I’m very proud of what I learned as a kid growing up in the 80s and early 90s in what is considered by many to be a fantasy land. I’ll tell more tales of PG County later on.
Of all the things I learned in those 12 years, the most important skill I learned was to think. Not just think for myself but to think critically. To analyze things. Not just regurgitate information. This is why lots of my thoughts and posts may seem half finished or end abruptly. Use that grey matter. Just like pecs and biceps you gotta work that muscle too. We need a buff brain too.
It also gets the team thinking on the same track. Kind of like Recipe Ping Pong.
Unfucking our educational system is of vital importance. There is nothing that anyone making decisions in the last 30 years can hold up as a success. Political successes, yes. Success in filling pockets to the detriment of our kids futures, yes. Dooming generations of We the People to jobs that keep them in the lower class, yes.
Actually improving anything? Nope
