Clean up your own backyard, before you call the city about your neighbors yard. That way you can help them clean up their yard, together.

Then you two can help another neighbor.

I was reading about how China no longer wants to buy our recyclable waste. Apparently, we don’t sort and clean it enough for their advanced recycling methods. Good for them. Seriously.

The question arises, why is China buying our trash? The first answer is always Greed. It’s cheaper to ship it halfway around the world than to do it in house. I get that, that’s why some restaurants buy salad mix instead of chopping their own. Saves labor money.

But if you base your menu on a product that your vendors could stop carrying. You are fukt. We have depended on China buying our trash for so long that the greedy fucks making the decisions thought it would last forever. And if it doesn’t, fuck it, they will be dead anyway.

Now I know that sorting and washing your recycling is a colossal pain in the ass. I myself battle to even get the recycling in the blue bin. Much less all the cat food out of it. I’d love to be able to clean and sort every time. To figure out which plastic they take or don’t take. Feeling shitty because you know that they will reject the whole bin for one wrong bottle. But We the People just don’t have time for that shit. Really, we are busy surviving. That’s an all day, every day task.

No time for learning. No time for cleaning & sorting. No time to question our Government. No time for Revolution.

We have an American Industry that needs to be developed and modernized. We have the trash. Oh yes, we have trash. We also have an ungodly amount of people who need jobs.

Modern requirements for recycling are very specific. Every single type of waste needs to be sorted, cleaned and packaged before it can even begin the long road to finding new purpose.

Hmmm people need work, trash needs cleaned and sorted. You see where I’m going?

Chef, nobody is going to want a job washing other people’s trash. That’s gross.

Yeah, it is. But if you spin it right. You can make it happen. The politicians know all about this.

My idea is each neighborhood has its own station. All the waste is dropped off. The workers first hose off everything in basically an empty swimming pool. With huge fire hoses, sounds fun to me. Next. The waste is sorted by type of metal, plastic or wood. Electronics and other special type materials dealt with appropriately.

From the neighborhood stations the clean and sorted items would move on to city, county and state facilities where they are consolidated, tracked, checked for cleanliness and correctness. Then off to the amazing new high tech Recycling Facility of America!

Still haven’t told us how you expect people to want to do this? Poor people don’t have time to care about the planet. That’s for rich liberals and college students!

We do it the same way we do everything else in this country. You throw money at it. Incentives for productivity, quality of work or improvement at the worker, neighborhood, city, county and state levels.

And hype this shit up, I want these workers as exhaulted as celebrities or athletes. I want Vegas betting on what neighborhood is going to process the most recyclable metal in March 2022.

I want these We the People to be treated like the heroes that they are. They are doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done the most.

Because the rest of us are to busy(We the People) or too fucking lazy and stuck up to be bothered getting their hands dirty. If they don’t make the maid do it.

I have so many ideas for incentives, not only for the workers but to get corporate involvement, as well. And no “offers they can’t refuse.” Yet.
