Who did you picture in your head? The lady in the video? Somebody you know? Maybe even yourself? Did you think “sister, I know your pain. Because I am living it too.” Or did you think ” sucks to be her, she should work harder”? Did you see the faces of your neighbors?
Can you imagine the courage it took for this woman to walk into the lion’s den and straight up to their face say “you get more money to spend on office furniture than I make in a year”.Or “it would take 9 years for her to make what a Congressperson makes in one year”. We need more people like her.
