This is a very good article. Yeah it’s a bit long but read it in sections and think about it. Make your friends read it and discuss it with them. Understanding this is fundamental. Once you do, you will see why our 2 party system only benefits the Government and not We the People. It perpetuates the equally divided, US vs THEM No progress making nightmare we are stuck in. The right is all pretty close to each other in regards to the various factions/ideologies on the right.
The left however, with its big tent party philosophy is like one of those huge gargantuan all you can eat Chinese buffets. Yeah, you have choices galore! But it’s all pretty much crap and in the end, nobody is satisfied and everyone is left wanting more and wishing they had made a better choice.
You can’t please everyone, all the time. It’s impossible, no matter how many nicely worded false promises they throw at us. But that’s the idea. Make promises they can’t, /won’t /never intend to keep or even consider. Then blame the Others and THEY!
They are responsible for all of your problems! They did it! They don’t like you. They are going to rape white women!
Side note, did you know that “and they will rape white women was used a a reason for the case to make heroin, cocaine and marijuana illegal? For extasy they changed it to” your kids will have sex while on it”, uhh I guess that one is true. But parents never want to admit that especially in the 80s.
