To each his own. As long as you follow some simple guidelines, of course.

One thing that has always pissed me off is forced conformity. Consensual conformity, like consensual sex, is more enjoyable for everyone involved.

It has never made sense why some people /parties that everyone must think/feel/act/believe/smell the same. Mathematically, that is impossible. Not with a country of our size. I guess you demonize those who don’t follow the party line. Comrade. Conformity breeds control.

We need to step back from the whole national level to the idea that makes us the greatest nation on Earth. We are currently compromised of 50 amazing unique customizable states. And outlaying territories. We the People have the opportunity to forge a new direction for ourselves.

Each state could reimagine itself as their citizens see fit. Want a socialist utopia with sun and sandy beaches? Move to California. Utah could be a Theocracy. But give different styles of government a shot. Obviously if you decide to live there you would have to adhere to the local way of doing things. The states would have to follow guidelines and not violate any Constitutional rights or subjugate any specific groups.

I also think that this idea could be implemented in the effort to revitalize dieing cities and towns all over the country. More on that coming later on.
