Jezebele and I were watching some series about spies on Netflix this evening. They were talking about surveillance and drones. They said something about “no domestic targets” Yada Yada Yada. Then I saw a video about the Government is asking for more and better equipped so they can keep better track of potential threats. They didn’t have the right toys that’s why they missed the threat on the 6th.
I’ll post the video below. Give it a watch. Beau is totally not what you expect. If you judge a book by its cover. But his pint is anyone on social media could have seen this coming. They don’t need new toys.
Which brings me to the point, both of them.
The people who are making the decisions DO NOT UNDERSTAND TODAY’S TECHNOLOGY BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T GROW UP WITH IT. They are too old to make informed decisions about things that affect people who don’t live in the magical land of politics.

You always here the Government extolling the virtues of more surveillance. It will be safer! Crime will be down! Old ladies can walk at night alone! Naked! Muther Government will keep you safe! That’s a great fantasy. But it boils down to this..
DO YOU TRUST THE GOVERNMENT?
Do you trust them to use it to protect you and not use it to control you?
I can say that they have not earned my trust.
