I’m watching the news and I think I have screwed myself up a little bit. All the lies, finger pointing and bullshit are getting to me. Don’t even get me started about the die hard true believers on both sides. But the thing that pissed me off the most and drives home one of my major issues with our current crop of political honchos.
Rudy Giuliani does not know how to use a smart phone. Apparently he has problems leaving voicemail.
If you can not master this simple task, why the fuck are you attempting to lead our country or even New York City. The divide between the members of our Government and Modern Society is growing wider every year. Not only do they live in their special world where everything gets taken care of for them, they have no contact, except at media events or their domestic and grounds maintenance staff, with We the People or the world at large.
It’s like we are attempting a quadruple bypass in the dark, with a 100 year old blind surgeon using a butter knife, whiskey for pain and a tallow candle for light. Yeah, it might work, but it’s going to hurt like a bitch, make a mess and you’ll most likely get an infection that kills you anyway. I don’t know about you but I’ll take the nice young doctor from Mumbai with his up to date medical training and state of the art modern equipment.
