Who are you? Who, hoo, hoot hoot.

My journey has been interesting to say the least. Far more interesting than you’d expect from an antisocial fat kid growing up in the Bowie, MD of the late 70s and 80s. But that happens when you take 20 pounds of curiosity, 4 cups of ADD, a quart of the need to figure shit out then blend in a love of problem solving and you get a metric fuckton of life experience. And the fun stories to go with it.

We the People are full of life experience. We are up to our necks in real life experience all day, every day. We respect those of us who “have been through some shit” and survived. Because that’s what we do. Survive. Sometimes barely. But we do. The wisdom gained whether we know it or not is more valuable than money, In the long run. We all know C. R. E. A. M. That’s just a sad fact of life, but that’s going to change.) Think of those people like the O. G. s of life.

We know all about the Wisdom of Failure. We wrote the book. Until some Academic read it and stole it and published it as his own work. So people who haven’t done shit in their lives can talk like they took a chance and failed. Funny thing is that politicians go to great lengths to act like they are pure as the driven snow and have never made a mistake or failed at anything. Sounds fishy to me. In the real world the people who never fail are the people who haven’t done anything or even attempted something in their pristine life of perfection.

One of my favorite sayings from my Dojo Days is “We strive for perfection everyday even though we will never achieve it”. I heard something the other day I think should get added. “We may never achieve perfection, but excellence is within our reach.”

The only thing excellent with Politicians is that they are excellent liars. Everything about them is a carefully put together story in order to get them in office and keep them there. That’s why they only attack their opponent’s story. It’s like a Pokémon match. You chop away at their defenses but never actually get to your opponent. So you can never find out who they truly are.

They fear the truth and the things it brings to light. The truth that they are corrupt and greedy with not a care in the world except their own wealth and power.

They only care about themselves because they have never lived in our world where we take care of ourselves and look out for our neighbors as well. It’s called Community. Hard to have real community when there is a two sets of electric fences between you and your neighbors. Are you both afraid of each other? Looks like the DMZ in Korea.
