Our entire existence in this country is about acquiring legal tender to exchange for goods and services. The ever increasing cost of and ever decreasing quality of said goods and services benefits the megacorps bottom line and the tax coffers of the Government. Back room deals edge out the little guy in favor of Mega Rich Mega Corps in return for sizeable donations to pliable politicians.
It’s time to throw a bunch of monkey wrenches into the works. Break their magic money machines and hold the repairs hostage. I guess they don’t realize that We the People do the repairs. We the People make their money machines work and keep them going with the money we make working our asses of day after day. A crappy job with a crappy boss. Or two! Anything left after bills going to get the kids the latest and greatest whatever is the thing at the moment. Two months after you worked overtime for 2 weeks to get the last latest and greatest whatever is the thing at the moment. Just in time for the next big thing.
I think the term is Consumer Slavery or it should be. It’s time to throw of the yoke of Corporate Greed. Free your mind and your ass will follow. Along with the wallet in your back pocket. Shop local, eat local, support small businesses of all colors and flavors. Try something new, wait longer than two days for shopping! (I’m guilty as fuck on this one. Having been laid up for almost a year now. The Giant A has been awesome. Just wish it’s owner would do the right thing sometimes)
