self-im·prove·ment
/ˈˌself əmˈpro͞ovmənt/
noun
the improvement of one’s knowledge, status, or character by one’s own efforts.
Our American Society as a whole is in desperate need of improvement. Right now The Government is trying to impose the improvements it says we need. As we all know, we can’t trust the Government to do the right thing. It’s time we stop waiting for someone to change it for us and make the change happen.
Unfortunately, truly effective change takes time and ADHD is rampant. But we must fail before we succeed.
We start with the only thing we have total control over. Ourselves. Our own thoughts, emotions and actions. Be the change and all that. Contemplate the person you want to be. The person you are. Think about what angers, frustrates, perplexes vexes, confuses or makes you feel inferior. Focus on one. Ask yourself “What can I do change this?” “Can I change this?” “Should I change this?” “Am I expecting the World to change to suit my wants and needs?” “Is that even possible?” “Do I even know what I want?”
Or, are we being told what we want by people who have no clue what we need much less want we want. Do we want change or do we seek to punish others to make us feel better. Will it really? Two wrongs never make it RIGHT, but it seems many wrongs make THE LEFT. The coalition of everyone who has ever been wronged by anyone is seeking retribution! no reciprocity, no reconciliation and no resolution.
