The way I learned it and as it has seemed to be that when a President leaves office, he assumes the role of the “elder statesman”. A wisend figure above the petty squabbling of politics. Only weighing in on important topics in a usually “what’s best for the nation” style. And as far as I have seen in my life time, that is how it has been.
So why is Trump still the focus of Government and Media scrutiny? Why is he not bowing out like he should? If it was his ego and being a sore loser you just ignore him and he goes away like the petulant child he is. Plain and simple.
But the current admin just can’t let it go. Has to push and push to prove they are better, smarter and deserve to be in charge. And he and his followers push back. All of them like a bunch of spoil rich kids. Which they are. Even if most of them are over 50. This creates the perfect opportunity for more controls and the erosion of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for We the People!
