For those of us struggling every day to keep our heads above water, it’s hard to stay positive and keep moving forward. Our society has devolved to a drag everyone down mentality. Judgementalism, finger pointing and constant focus on the sins of the past while politicians fuck up our future for their political gains ways down on even the most stalwart of us. Black folks, especially children are being told you will never amount to shit because of the color of your skin. White folks are being told you all are racist and thus priveledged across the board
I just don’t see it in the real world of We the People. I see people of all colors struggling to just get by despite the huge amount of bullshit being piled upon us. I see promises made and never kept by people who have never had problems paying the power bill every month. I see insurmountable obstacles being placed upon us by assholes who say they are the only solution. I see out of work people who are having their unemployment money being taken back. I see more and more people succumbing to depression and drug abuse. I see frustrated, angry people lashing out at the world in completely non-productive ways. I see oppressed people being told that retribution is the only answer. I see the dreams of great men being destroyed by the selfishness and ignorance of politicians. I see differences being exploited and people doubting their neighbors.
I see fear being spread nationwide, I see the end of everything good that could come in favor of hatred.
I see the people of this country being blamed for the failings of the politicians who have fucked this country up for generations. Our only fault is we keep electing these shit for brains, narcissistic , spineless wastes of oxygen over and over. It’s time for We the people to stand the fuck up, united against the people who are truly to blame.
The Government, the Academics, the weak minded upper class and anyone else who has no clue what it means to struggle ever damn day to put food on the table.
You all are the fucking problem.
Not us.
And if it’s a fight you want. It’s a fight you are gonna get.
