If we judged people like we judge our country. Then every guy who got popped selling drugs to support his family, paid his debt to society and tried to do better and be there for his kids. Would still be in prison until he died and his kids would end up endebted as well.
If we didn’t suck so much the only debt his kids would have to worry about is student loan debt.
