If you have read through my stories you may have noticed that I haven’t written much about our Latino and Latina Hermanos e Hermanas. I found this one. Which sums it up.
You don’t hear much about Latinos much unless it’s attached to something else. Mostly LGBTQ+. No Latinos are oppressed. Just black and POC? But now with all this bussing Latino immigrants willy nilly across the country.
Side note, this is how it felt being part of PG County Md’s desegregation bussing program in the early 80s. Kinda, but that was one of the most important years of my life. Well hopefully the immigrants will feel the same way 30 years from now.
Our wonderful government has made people who risk their lives to sneak into our overly fucked up country because it’s better than where they came from, just as divisive as being white or black, gay or straight, right or left, blue or red, crops or bloods.
I have a few ideas on the topic of good uses for this excessive labor pool besides the service industry.
And all you liberals up north getting pissed because the immigrants are coming.
Fuck you.
