The problem with the past, both people and events, is that none of us was there. We know the objective past but the subjective is always up for debate. We used to actually debate it and sometimes even reach a consensus on a certain topic. But debate and discuss we did. Not these days. No, sir.
Today everyone puts their opinion out on the net as fact and nobody seems capable of accepting the existence of the fact that they may be not right. Or maybe even misinformed. I’m not sure how it happened, I’ll blame Tiktok for now. But, this inability to have civil discourse makes us easier to control.
One example would be CRT. One idea of CRT is that the United States is, was and will always be a racist instistution. If this is true, this creates white guilt and guilt is easily used to control and manipulate people. We have all dated that person.
On the flip side, if the above is true then no matter what they do minority groups will never be able to achieve equality. So why try? This creates thoughts of inferiority and hopelessness which also makes us easily controlled. Ask any pimp, he will tell you.
